Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design engineering services for  Bruce and Gloria Ingram Hall, Texas State University’s   Science and Engineering Building. This 166,000 GSF building is University’s largest academic building, which includes a new research laboratory and associated support space, instructional, and related administrative spaces.

Ingram Hall houses TSU’s electrical, industrial engineering and manufacturing engineering programs. In addition to the new Engineering & Science Building this total project also includes site utilities from various locations around the Campus.

Future Editions to Ingram Hall:

  • Biology, computer science, mathematics and physics programs
  • Material science engineering and commercialization Ph.D. program, which will combine hard science with business development in collaboration with Texas State’s McCoy College of Business Administration.
  • “Makerspace” for students with 3D printers, laser cutters and engravers, metal and plastic mills and a large water-jet table.
