San Antonio International Airport
Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for the addition of two new Terminals “B” and “C” totaling 251,000 SF and the demolition of existing Terminal T-2 at the San Antonio International Airport.
The facility consists of a grand ticket lobby, food courts, baggage claim, baggage handling, and airline and administration spaces.
New electrical service to terminals and expansion of central plant includes the addition of a 1,000-ton chiller and a cooling tower cell and thermal utilities.
Won the 2011 ENR Award of Merit under the transportation category!
