Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design engineering services for the University of Texas at San Antonio Science and Engineering Building.  This proposed four-story structure planned for approx. 150,000 SF. This facility provides classrooms, faculty offices, along with science and engineering research and instructional labs.

The project includes a central plant and thermal utility expansions to serve the SEB and other future buildings, storm water and utility relocations and upgrades in addition to improvements to existing vehicular and pedestrian pathways in the area. This building is part of the University of Texas’ strategic plan for providing state-of-the-art space for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education and research.
