Employees Retirement System of Texas New Office Building

Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design engineering services for the Employees Retirement System of Texas New Office. The project includes the construction of a new 400,000 GSF facility with one level of below grade parking, ground floor mixed use, three levels of above grade parking (levels 2-4), and five levels of Tennant Core (approx. 200,000 GSF). ERS finished out approximately 20,000 SF of the Tenant space for their use.

SSA coordinated with the owner’s 3^rd party commissioning agent during design and construction to meet all applicable LEED requirements. The project was certified for LEED Gold.
