Music Education Complex and Central Plant
Texas a&M uniVERSITY – kingsville
Our team provided MEP Engineering services for the new Music Education Complex at Texas A&M University–Kingsville. The facility was designed as a signature addition to campus that supported the growing needs of the Department of Music. The project included rehearsal spaces for concert band, choral, jazz, and orchestra programs, along with music labs, lecture halls, student practice rooms, faculty studios and offices, storage areas, and collaborative zones that promoted student engagement.
A state-of-the-art recording studio expanded instructional capabilities, while the 500-seat performance hall served as the centerpiece of the building, offering an acoustically advanced venue for student performances, guest artists, and community events. The lobby functioned as a prominent gathering space and visual feature that enhanced the campus experience.
As part of this effort, our team also provided MEP design for the associated Central Plant upgrades that supported the complex. The Music Education Complex strengthened the University’s ability to offer high-quality music instruction, performance opportunities, and community programming.
