Facilities Condition Assessment

Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided an assessment of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for approximately 1,800,000 square feet of the existing Texas Woman’s University (TWU) campus in Denton Texas.
The assessment included surveying and analysis of existing MEP systems including chilled water and heating water systems, air distribution systems, emergency/standby/normal power systems, lighting, and natural gas and water utilities.
The assessment included both conditional assessment of the systems and code review of the MEP building systems in conjunction with architectural requirements for overall code compliance with current codes and standards.
