Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design engineering for this expansion of the Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

Education, Research, and Technology Building (62,258 sf) is a standalone building including the following spaces.

  • Research laboratories.
  • Translational research facility classrooms.
  • Offices.
  • Support spaces.

West Expansion (122,804 sf) is an expansion of the existing Health Science Center facility including the following spaces.

  • Gross anatomy lab.
  • Research lab.
  • 240 seat classroom.
  • 4-100 seat classrooms.
  • Faculty and staff offices.
  • Student collaboration space.
  • Café kiosk.

Conference Center (12.500 sf) consisting of a standalone building that includes conference and classroom spaces.
