New Addition for Hybrid Endovascular OR and buildout of OR#5

Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided MEP engineering services for a new 2000sqft addition to house a hybrid endovascular OR, future OR, as well as buildout of existing shell OR#5.  The new hybrid OR contains 8 booms and state of the art electronics, a supporting equipment room, control room, sterile storage space, and new electrical closet. A dedicated RTU to serve this addition was designed.  New dedicated smoke evacuation system was integrated into the existing building.  OR #5 was built out to allow Davinci robotic surgery.
