BP leased a new 12-story unoccupied office building in west Houston.  This project consisted of the tenant fit out of the shelled floors.

Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design for the build out.  Each floor had a core area consisting of a paint/copy room, café/break room, and conference spaces.  The remainder of each floor was a different design based upon the specific needs of the department moving to that floor.

As part of the design, one half of the second floor was builtout to include a kitchen/cafeteria and seating area.  The approximately 10,000 SF kitchen/server included walk in refrigerators, freezers, food prep, grills, ovens, salad bar, and c-store.

Behringer Harvard (BH) is the Owner of the building and SSA worked closely with the BH facility staff to ensure the new design operated within the parameters of the core systems of the building.
