Shah Smith & Associates, Inc. provided MEP services for a new STEM Education Building at Texas A&M University in San Antonio.
The new 136,000 sq. ft. facility is expected to have 25 classrooms along with a dozen laboratories to accommodate studies in biology, chemistry, geology, physics, genetics, ecology physiology and other environmental degrees. It will also house the University’s Center for Experiential Learning and Community Engagement.
Foundation was poured in the summer of 2017 and the building is expected to open in 2018. You can follow the construction progress via Twitter here.
